Berlin is bursting at the seams with world class events and fun things to do! In our latest Berlin Pass blog article we’ve outlined where you should be heading if you’re in Berlin this November.

1) Jazzfest Berlin

If you’re visiting Berlin in November you can take advantage of some world class jazz. There are gigs around the city with big names such as Miles Davis, Charles Mingus and Duke Ellington having played previously at the festival.

2) 25 Years Fall of the Berlin Wall

To celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall 25 years ago there will be 8,000 illuminated balloons placed along where the wall used to stand, separating the East and West.

The balloons represent a ‘symbol of hope for a world without borders’ and is made of thousands of helium filled balloons, illuminating a 12km route through the city where the wall once stood.

The beautiful installation marks the 25th anniversary of when the wall came down. The tribute is one of a number of things to do in Berlin this November and also offers a great photo opportunity by the Brandenburg Gate.

3) International Short Film Festival

Between 11 – 16 November, the international short film festival in Berlin attracts cinephiles from around the world. Showing over 500 films during the 6 day festival it is great tribute to film making.

If you’re at a loose end one afternoon or evening head to one of the cinemas showing the films and take in something new – you won’t regret it!

4) Autumn Bus Tour

With the leaves falling from the trees and Berlin gearing up for the winter it is a great time to get out of the cold and see the city from an open top bus tour.
