1. Berlin Music Week 3rd – 7th September.

Attracting over 20,000 visitors from around the world, Berlin Music Week is a celebration of musical cultures. Enjoy a diverse musical mix which will keep you entertained all evening! Running over 5 days, the Music Week attracts artists from a variety of musical genres and countries, from home grown talent to international record labels.

Berlin Music Week takes places in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg which is viewed as the most colourful and lively area of Berlin – you may be up dancing all night!

2. Days of Jewish Culture 4th – 14th September

This 10 day event is organised by the Jewish Community in Berlin and presents the diversity of the Jewish Culture. Expressed through theatrical performances, readings, discussions, exhibitions and concerts it features fabulous performers from around the world.

3. Pyronale 5th – 6th September

Love fireworks? Well you’ll love the fireworks championships, known as The Pyronale. Taking place every year on the Maifeld, teams come from around the world to wow the judges and spectators with stunning fireworks displays.

The teams are doing battle to take home the coveted trophy designed by Jette Joop. Don’t worry, the audience is asked to vote for their favourite display so be sure to make a note of your favourite!

The Maifeld is next to the Olympic Stadium so why not combine it with a trip to the stadium with your Berlin Pass.

4. Berlin Art Week 16th – 21st September

Berlin is a world class art location in its own right and is home to some of the best galleries including the Neue National Gallery, Gemalde Gallery and Alte National Gallery. The Berlin Art Week is when hundreds of galleries present their new collections, exhibitions and performances.

There are plenty of special art events around the city and the Berlin Art Week acts as a meeting point for the international art scene – attracting many collectors, artists, the media and art enthusiasts.

5. The Berlin Marathon 28th September

Taking place at the end of September the Berlin Marathon is a great spectacle for people visiting the city. More than 40,000 athletes take part in the marathon with over a million people cheering them on. Head out and cheer on those running the 42km course – they will need it!
